fuzzyness is written and produced by me, Dave Foy.

I live in Kingston-upon-Hull (UK), have run this small web design agency since 2003 and have also recently founded a new search engine marketing consultancy called Woof.

I have a few photos on Flickr, and write stuff on this blog that’s too long for Twitter.

I’m currently about to experiment with setting up a new Tumblr blog for more frequent posts than I manage here. Let’s see how that goes.

Although I write in a more focused way in many other places, I wanted this site to be a blog like blogs used to be. I post what I want, how I want, and on whatever topic I fancy, with a good few links and recommendations sprinkled into the mix.

It’s quite likely to be about technology and music, but it could equally be a recipe for chicken and sweet potato curry. I hope you enjoy it (the blog, not the curry. Although the curry would be undeniably very tasty indeed).

Basically, there’s no niche here, move along please m’am.

fuzzyness is now produced with Wordpress (it spent its first 3 years nestled in the ample bosom of ExpressionEngine). I’m running the Wordpress Thesis theme. I ♥ Thesis.

I write all my posts in the excellent MarsEdit. Text formatting is handled by Markdown. Customisations are coded in Coda.

I use a few great Wordpress plugins such as Smart Archives Reloaded, Twitter Widget Pro and Sociable (with these hand drawn icons).

fuzzyness is hosted with EngineHosting, the greatest hosting company on planet Earth.

I live and breathe Mac OSX on a 15″ 2.2GHz MacBook Pro with 4GB RAM.
