It shall be mine, oh yes…

by Dave Foy on October 22, 2007

After thinking about it for over a year I’ve finally bitten the bullet and ordered myself a shiny new MacBook Pro.

At 2.2Ghz, with 2GB RAM, it’s already way more powerful than my lowly 3-and-a-half year old G5 desktop machine (which in itself was top of the range in it’s day) and will happily replace it as my main machine.

I’ve plumped for a 15″, as I’m reliably informed that the 17″ simply isn’t portable. With a custom upgrade to a 160GB HD (at the pricier 7200RPM model) I’m all set for kick-ass mobile computing.

Nice new family member to keep the G5, iBook and MacMini company too!

It’s already shipped and I’m giddy as a kipper. Can’t wait!
